Rob's Gourmet Express
Objective: Develop a brand that customers can grow attached to and rely on for quality despite a premium price.

Method: Logo design, colour branding, website created with customer purchase in mind.

Background:
As a sales driven business, Rob, the owner was shrewd enough to realize that in his market there was a vacuum in the online world. With the insight of a keen businessman, Rob commissioned geexoft to develop a sharp ecommerce solution to backup his print advertisements and new brand name that reflected the one-on-one customer relationship that his company is built on.

Process: We first investigated how he wanted his brand to be perceived, how it was perceived and then we formulated several design concepts that were inline with his personal style. Once he had chosen a direction we set to work on developing his website.

With a concept finalized our work on the backend began in earnest. This was a custom administrative area where he could manage all of his products from one password-protected area. He is able to, from any web browsing terminal, to update prices, and product availability with only a few clicks. Once it was completed, it was tested, retuned and released. The final product was a polished site ready to take orders and start delivering on his investment.

Final results:
A truly functional site with hundreds of qualified customers visiting and purchasing from the site every month. Customers feel more confident buying from a company that has a appealing online presence.

Warriors and Wonders
Objective: Solidify and streamline the e-commerce process.

Method: New logo, new site, full database of products and client managed website.

Background: A successful retailer with several years of solid revenues, a die-hard client base and a website that generates respectable traffic. Most sales originate from their Vancouver location and the website was just one more advertising avenue that they used to draw in foot traffic.

Process: We had the intent of taking their site, which had no uniform method of displaying products, and streamlining the process of adding, editing and removing products from their website. We discussed their current methodology and found that each page was created from scratch and utilized very little in actual web technology.

To solve their problem we created a customized shopping cart solution that kept the development costs down, which also provided a powerful client-managed inventory management system. With features such as sales reports, traffic reports, customer databases, mailing lists and dozens of other options, the site soon began pulling in thousands of visitors a month.

Outcome:
The site is now visited by upwards of 2300 people every month and increasing steadily. Although the sales option is there, the main site is still a huge advertising tool for their products. Since the products are usually major purchases, and each unit has unique characteristics, the majority of their customers still prefer to feel the product in person before purchasing. Looking to drive more national traffic for online sales, we will be initiating an active web advertising campaign soon!
